Willie Durham is a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Alabama, and a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served with honor for over 20 years before retiring in 2003. In 2005, he established his State Farm Insurance Agency, quickly earning a reputation as an industry leader.

A man of faith, Willie is an active member of New Home Missionary Baptist Church, where he serves on the Board of Deacons. His commitment to community service is reflected in his leadership roles on several boards, including:

• Chairman Elect of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce
• Committee of 100
• Baptist Hospital Board of Directors
• Montgomery Habitat for Humanity
• Child Protect Advocacy Center

Willie is also the Past President of The Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club and serves as a Commissioner with the Montgomery Housing Authority.

He is married to his high school sweetheart, Terrie Fleming, and they have one son, Kolby.
