Tashia Turner

Meet Ms. Tashia Turner, a single mother of 5 girls ranging in age from 6 months to 15. Ms. Turner has been on the HCV Program since 2017. She recently took her first step towards independence by joining the FSS Program. She enjoys watching movies, cooking, and spending quality time with her girls. Ms. Turner heard about the program from MHA’s website and wishes to improve her finances and obtain employment. She described her children being her world and wishes to become a first time homebuyer so that they can celebrate their dream goal together!

Davida Moore

Meet Davida Moore; she is a single mother of 1. She has been on the HCV Program since 2010. She recently accomplished one of her FSS Program goals which is to obtain full-time employment; she works at Walmart. She says that she is feeling motivated and fearless. Now that her son is finally one she is able to return to the workforce. Her ultimate goal is to become a first-time home buyer. She says that the FSS Program is a huge help and is putting her on the right track by educating her on the homebuying process step by step.
