The Plaza at Centennial Hill Opens the Project Based Section 8 Wait List

 

The Plaza at Centennial Hill in partnership with The Montgomery Housing Authority will be accepting online applications for its Project-Based Section 8 Program beginning Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 9:00 am through Friday, March 14, 2018, 11:59 pm only 2500 applicants will be accepted. The Project-Based Section 8 Program provides rental assistance to low-income families, including elderly and persons with disabilities who reside at The Plaza at Centennial Hill.

All applications must be submitted online, except by request, for elderly or disabled persons. Such request can be made in person at 515 Percy Dr., Montgomery, AL 36107 or by telephoning 334-819-4747. Hard copy applications will not be available at The Plaza at Centennial Hill, any of the Montgomery Housing Authority properties or at it central office. Online applications will be available through the Montgomery Housing Authority’s website at www.mhatoday.org  and The Plaza at Centennial Hill’s website at www.tmo.com only during the hours prescribed above. Online applications can be completed utilizing any computer, smartphone or tablet with internet access. If applicants do not have any of the listed devices, they may access computers with internet access at public libraries. 

Applications that are received will be placed in time and date order.  A waiting list preference will be given to families with a family composition needing a 2-or3-bedroom unit; a household with either all adult household members working at least 30 hours per week; or enrolled in an accredited education, employment or job training program; or be a person with disabilities or over 62 years of age. Applicants will be selected based on preference and its number assignment in ascending order.
